Founder Chen Renying served as a nurse for 23 years and a head nurse for 8 years at Dongguan People's Hospital. In 2008, she was selected by the Guangdong Provincial Health Department to pursue advanced training in geriatric nursing in Hong Kong, where she earned a diploma in geriatric nursing. Guided by the philosophy of “enhancing patient dignity and simplifying nursing care,” Chen Renying invented thirteen patented nursing devices. Leveraging Dongguan's manufacturing strengths, she transformed these patents into products. With hospital leadership approval, these innovations were implemented in clinical nursing practice, earning unanimous praise from nurses, patients, and families. Consequently, in 2012, she founded Mengtai to commercialize her own patents.
In 2013, she established the “Mengtai Nurse Patent Application and Commercialization Service Center.” To date, the center has provided patent consultation services to over 10,000 nurses nationwide, produced nearly 2,800 prototypes, handled more than 2,600 patent applications, and successfully assisted 268 nurses in commercializing 311 patents, generating significant social and economic benefits.
